Last Major Eruption: Records suggest that 2 major eruptions happened during 1906 and 1960. There isn't enough evidence to conclude if the eruptions are periodic. However, if the time span of the major eruptions suggest that large eruptions happen around every 50 years, there may be another major eruption in the next decade.
This is quite a typical mud volcano because it's near fault lines, salt water bodies, and near a plate boundary. It's a suitable size.
